I didn't bother to edit it back together, but I think you get the idea. It's loaded with cards.
Here's where the contest comes into play:
To my knowledge, there is only one card that appears twice in this puzzle. The contest is simple. You tell me which card it is, and I'll give you that card...and probably something else.
Simply leave a comment in the form of "1954 Topps Hank Aaron". For the record, the Aaron RC does appear in the puzzle (bottom middle section, left edge about halfway up) and the correct answer is not that card. I'm not giving away an Aaron RC. Sorry.
1978 Topps #306 - Joe Niekro
Please do me a favor and send it to Dimwit next time you trade with him, I just wanted to be the one to ID it!
Upper-middle panel to the right of the Ruth and bottom-right panel pretty close to the corner, by the way. And I'm more than 50% sure I had this puzzle when I was a kid--the big old-style glove in a puzzle filled with baseball cards definitely sticks out in my mind. Very cool!
Damn, as I suspected, there is more than one pair. I hadn't caught the Niekro.
The contest is still open, as I know there is another pair that has not been found!
Aargh. I have been looking at the image on my iPhone. My eyes hurt. Cool puzzle though!
It's the 1978 Lenny Randle card. Pays to know my '70s cards so well
Well done Night Owl!
It also happens to be a card I got in the Topps Diamond Giveaway. It was weird seeing it in the puzzle twice after getting it.
