The most interesting thing I could find about Hermida is that he bats lefty and throws righty. I know I know, calm down, that's seriously exciting stuff right there.
My cousin batted like that. Apparently he had multiple coaches that hated it because they thought he was more likely to be HBP on his front hand, which is your throwing hand when you bat opposite of the way you pitch.
