Baez only had 1 career hit. It came in interleague play against the Nationals, with Baez coming off of pitching the 10th and 11th innings for the Orioles. After reaching on a single, Baez advanced to third on a ground rule double by Bryan Roberts. The next batter, Adam Jones, hit a double that scored Baez. The run would prove to be the game-winner. Pretty cool story for his only pro hit.
