Despite my rants on over-parallelizing Topps cards, I am actually a fan of the Gold cards. They actually have a history to them, and gold is a premium color. The only thing that really bothers me is the serial number stamping. They need to return to foil stamping. If you are going to insist on foil names on the front of the cards, foil serial numbers can't be that difficult.
