I've been hoarding...
So, aside from the few packs I've posted here and there this year and the 3-Box Ginter blowout I had, most of the packs I've bought have been opened and stashed in a box. I don't know why. I do, however, somewhat understand why my wife hates me. It's not all junk, either; there's a fair amount of relaly good stuff in there. The total tally from everything shown:

...and that's just baseball. I also have ~30 packs of football/hockey/soccer/basketball/multi-sport/other-sport/non-sport sitting around. I really haven't planned anything for any of these, either. There's some PC stuff floating in there (some player cards and some set needs) but I would guess that around 1500 are just trade bait or sort-and-collect-dust cards. Since I just recently finished paying off the my wife's cat's surgery bill (yeah, I know), I celebrated by ordering some boxes for myself. I will probably post those over the next two weeks, then you'll start seeing the stash from above. Options I have considered for the stash:
1. Another bracket contest like I did at the beginning of the year, but that thing was a beast to take on.
2. I also thought about doing a Thorzul-esque "the Best X items in the lot" series and maybe highlight the top 100-200 cards in there. I could maybe do the 100-best and the 100-worst concurrently.
3. I could also go about it the traditional way and just post them randomly as pack/blaster breaks. I'd shy away from video-ing them, though, since they are already opened. Just like the usual, you see something you like, let me know and we'll trade.
4. I have thought about a group break. Since they are already opened, it's not like I would need any certain amount to pay for the lot, or to fill all teams. I would be keeping any PC stuff (a few cards here and there, and probably some 2008 Heroes and 2006 Fleer Tradition for my sets). I envisioned a Bid-style break where you put in a $-amount you would be willing to pay and then if someone else wants that team, they would bid a dollar more. I wouldn't be looking for much, just to cover shipping and to put a few bucks back in my pocket. I'm not sure there would be any competition for teams (other than maybe the Dodgers), so I don't know that a bid-style thing would have a point. The benefit to bid-style is that the Pirates likely wouldn't cost as much as the Yankees. I would reserve the right to accept and reject offers. After all, I started this blog because I like feeling powerful, and marriage doesn't allow that. Not quite sure how a group break would work nor how long it would take.
5. Any other ideas or thoughts?

Can't think. Just staring at the card porn. Ditto...what Greg said....
I cannot believe those are all just sitting there.
Unopened.
Sitting there.
Still sitting there. Unopened.
Gah!
@night owl
They've been opened, I just put them right back in the pack after opening. I didn't even take anything out, even the hits.
but they're still just sitting there.
almost unopened.
even the hits.
Gah!!
So what did you end up doing with all this good stuff?
