I found some more Golden Age scans that I had forgotten about. As you saw yesterday, Panini defined the Golden Age as:
1861-1865
1891-1935
1944
1950-1956
1958-present
So, let's see if it holds up, or if we need to fill in some gaps.
Eva Gabor, Actress from 1941-1994
Barry Williams, Actor from 1963-Present
Sugar Ray Leonard, Boxing Champ from 1979-1990
Herbert Hoover, President from 1929-1933
Barry Switzer, Football Coach from 1961-1997
Al Lopez, Catcher, Cleveland from 1947-1947
Grantland Rice, Sportswriter from 1901-1954
Branch Rickey, Executive, Hall of Fame from 1913-1915, 1919-1955
Now for the inserts:
Hindenburg 1937
Secretariat, Triple Crown Winner 1973
...and the minis:
William Howard Taft, President from 1909-1913
Sugar Ray Leonard
So, thanks mostly to Grantland Rice and Eva Gabor, we can shorten the Golden Age description down to this:
1861-1865
1891-present
Judging by the checklist, I'm not sure you can close the gap from 1865-1891.
Oh well, that was fun.
