Usually, "I didn't deserve that" is reserved for situations where you do good and get something bad. This is the opposite situation.
I pretty much took a dump on Heritage recently, but stated I may grab a hobby pack or two just for the hell of it. Well, I ended up grabbing two hobby packs at the LCS.
In the first pack, one card was flipped backwards relative to the rest. When I flipped it over, it looked like a regular card, but it was actually a Picture Variation SP:
That was a pleasant surprise, but what came in the second pack was way better than that:
Pumpsie Green is best known as being the first black guy to play for the Red Sox. The Red Sox were the last ML team to integrate. Pumpsie played 4 seasons for the Red Sox before being traded to the Mets. He only appeared in 17 games for the '63 Mets, but did get a card in the '64 Topps set. It's really cool to get a card with such a neat connection to history.
I really didn't deserve that.

Wow, nice Pumpsie!
Nice pull! I've never had the luck to pull an auto out of Heritage.
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!
PUMPSIE IS FUN TO SAY
Any chance you're willing to trade the Molina card?
Congrats on the Pumpsie! I was able to find one of his autos in 2008 Heritage and sold it off for a tidy sum not too long ago.
