2011 Topps Allen & Ginter Retail Comparison: The Blaster

I've already opened 9 loose packs and two rack packs with some success.  Time for a discounted blaster.

My first short print was a Reynolds, which is always nice.
Three more SPs, as expected

The Chutley code card is nice, I guess.  Other than that, not a whole lot to write home about.

The black border SP Peralta is okay, but not much else caught my eye.

The first order of business in comparing the three variations of discounted 2011 A&G purchases is to declare the blaster the loser.  It really was a let down after the success of the other packs.

The minis and player collection cards I got in the 9 loose packs are pretty tough to beat.  Then again, the 2 rack packs did yield a jersey card.

I have to give the edge to the 9 loose packs.  The hit was nice, but it was a card I've pulled before, and the rack packs didn't yield much else.

The card I'm most happy about is the Aristotle MMF card.  I really want to finish that set.

If you pulled Animals in Peril: #25 I'd love to trade for it as it's the last card I need for that particular insert set. Also, I have quite a few 2011 Allen & Ginter cards available for trade here: http://fanofreds.blogspot.com/2011/07/2011-allen-ginter-for-trade.html.
