7 Baseball Repacks,
6 Random Blasters,
5 Jersey Things,
4 Packs of Stuff,
3 UD Heroes,
2 Goodwin Blasters,
and a Baseball Gem of the Game!
In case you hadn't noticed, the theme of this 12 Days seems to be bad decisions I made in purchasing cards.
Today is no different.
That's the end result of 7 Baseball repacks from Target/Walmart/Kmart. They're the product of too many lunch outings.
I consolidated the images into fewer scans than previous days to give you a little bit of a break.
I told you I want all of those Fathead and Topps of the Class cards. I was super thrilled to pull the Zim Xfractor out of the single pack of 2007 Chrome I got. Wright and Zim are in those team cards, I promise.
Hitting a few more players here. Cool to get a Cuddyer from 2003 in a pack I wouldn't usually come across.
The Year in Review cards are cool. I still need this card, and will compensate heavily. The J-Hey is an insert that is on a design that should just be a base design. Mickey has been making a number of appearances in this 12 Days. Those Career Days cards are hideous.
Rick Ankiel as a pitcher. Russell Martin as a rookie. Rafael Palmeiro as a Future Star. Jamie Moyer on a card from the '80s. Babe Ruth as a Yankee. Jeter as a Starquest. McCovey, Clark, Williams, and Posey as tiny, sticky Giants. Pujols as a sketch. Howard as a Perfect 10.
The only thing better than Fleer stickers is Upper Deck hologram stickers. Those Diamond Stars cards were brilliant. The same can't be said for Golden Greats. All-red Yadier complements all-gold Juan Pierre and a couple green dudes perfectly at Christmastime.
Minis: A&G x 5, Topps x 1, Fleer x 1, GQ x 1.
Die Cut Harper.
Awesome awesome awesome Nolan Ryan.
I got HR #716 in the same 12-Days as #756. Appropriate. I'll say it again, too: Barry Bonds is the best baseball player to ever play the game.
Lastly, a Roberto Alomar Diamond Cuts Jersey. Always nice to get a relic from a repack. I just wish it wasn't a single relic from 7 repacks. A HOFer, nonetheless.
While there weren't too many scans shown here today, tomorrow may get a wee bit heavy, in more ways than one.

This has been a fun series of posts to read. Keep 'em comin'!
IMO I think all baseball players should wear socks like Rick Ankiel.
That Biggio Machine thingy is baddass!
