Zimmerman Junkie

If you don't know TJ, the Junior Junkie, then you're missing out.  He collects Griffey the way we all wish we could.  His collection is very impressive.  He had a contest in October to see if folks could guess the total number of Griffeys, the number of unique Griffeys, and the dupe ratio in his collection.

While my guesses of 1,353 unique Griffeys and 3.14159 for the ratio were off, my guess of 6,374 total Griffeys was only off by 56.  Thus, I received a prize package:

This package was a huge reason that my Zim collection recently overtook my BJ Upton collection (currently Zim leads 229-227).

In addition to all of those Zimmermans, TJ hooked me up with a sweet chrome BJ Upton RC I needed:

He also knocked one of the Real Feel relics off of my 2012 Panini Triple Play want list:

The real gem of this package, though, was this David Wright Jersey/Card set:

Oddball stuff like this is always fun to have in a player collection.

I love the completely vague authenticity statement.

"The enclosed piece of jersey was cut from an Authentic Jersey from the player pictured on the front." First, why is Authentic Jersey capitalized?

"This Authentic Jersey was obtained from a trading card manufacturer or the secondary market."  In other words, the jersey either came from a card manufacturer that questioned its authenticity or from anybody else in the entire world.

Fantastic package, TJ, thanks!

I forgot all about those! The numbers have changed a bunch since then, too.

Glad you like them!
