Football Contest! wait...football? in March?

That's right, I'm keeping football alive right here on the blog, and you could win!

By my calculations, we have 24 Sundays until the NFL starts back up, not including today.  So, starting with next Sunday (March 17) I'm going to play out an entire NFL season, with the cards determining the points.

The schedule will look like this:

Weeks 1-17 - Weeks 1-17 in the 2012-2013 NFL Schedule.
Week 18 - Wild-Card round
Week 19 - Division Championships
Week 20 - Conference Championships
Weeks 21-24 - Quarters 1-4 of the Super Bowl

Of course, I can't show every card, but in general I can say most base cards for a team will be 1 point each.  Any other points (or negative points, for that matter) and all tie breakers will be my decision, since it's my blog.  At the end of the season, whoever's team wins the super bowl will win a prize, which will be determined at a later date. There may be prizes for other things, too.

I need those of you who want to participate to select a team.

To pick a team, just leave a comment.

I want this series of posts to be fun, so I encourage you to be vocal.  I can most certainly be persuaded to award points if you present good or humorous arguments.  By all means, debate, debate, debate.  Tell me why your cards should earn more points.  Tell me why someone else's shouldn't.
