2006 Topps Allen & Ginter #143


It's kind of amazing this guy went from a 100% defensive catcher (no hitting potential) to a hitting coach.  Not many folks improve that much on their weakness throughout their careers.  Impressive.

    That's Assistant Hitting Coach, assisting the greatest slugger of our time...John Mabry?

    With the additional uniformed coach allowed this year, I think we'll get to see him in the dugout, though.
