That's right, I'll be taking my wife to the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II. Over the past week and a half, we have rewatched the first 7 movies in order to prepare. I don't usually get excited to go to the movies, but this is going to be awesome. I would be fine with seeing it NOT at midnight, but I'm surely not letting my wife go to the midnight showing alone. The same concept applies to the Twilight films: I don't need to see it at midnight, but she doesn't need to be out alone at midnight with a bunch of vampire enthusiasts. It's sad that the Harry Potter movie franchise is ending (for now) because Hermione is hot.
Oh man. A friend of mine turned me on to the book recently, so I've been feverishly reading them so I can watch the movies just so I can watch the movie with everyone else. I think I might just be waiting until it comes out on dvd. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteI am going with my son at 12 in Vancouver.
ReplyDeleteI will be sound asleep in bed at midnight tonight. Thanks to the fact that I was somewhere over the southeastern seaboard in a plane, having my lower back pummeled by the freaking 5 year old brat sitting in the seat behind me!! Have fun, I've read the books and it will be sad to see the end of the series.
